Many confuse the free trial from the Shein with a possible coup.

In reality, however, this offer is a scam that harms victims by charging for access to a supposed review app that, in fact, does not exist.
This warning comes from cybersecurity company Kaspersky, which discovered that websites and applications are using Google advertising and supposed “partnerships” with digital influencers to attract and deceive their victims.
According to Kaspersky, this scheme is recurrent and platforms with similar approaches have already been removed from Android application stores. However, new versions of the same scheme continue to appear.
The most recent case involves the “InstaMoney” application, which promises to pay for everyday actions of Instagram users. Instagram, like liking photos, and was even promoted as “publi” by personalities such as ex-BBB Key Alves.
Now, the fraudulent website is “Money Looks”, which appropriates the name of the well-known Chinese fashion brand. Additionally, the “InstaMoney” promoters are also behind the Google ads for this new scam.

How does this scam work?
Encouraged by advertising and influencers, these platforms manage to get people to make a deposit of more than R$ 100 to access a clothing reviews.
They promise to return this amount when the person is active in the system and even offer free products from the Shein.
These websites and applications also mention support via WhatsApp to answer questions and emphasize the possibility of obtaining “excellent results” and earning “additional income”.
Kaspersky suspects that this is an attempt to reassure the consumer about the transaction.
According to reports from victims who fell for the scam, they do not receive a call or access to the promised platform after paying to create the reviews.
